A Content Management System (CMS), also known as "Database Driven
Website" or "Intranet Back-end", is a software program that allows
for easily updating a website without any technical knowledge. The
Chase Information Systems CMS program supplies the user with a toolbar
very much like Microsoft Word, but traps the user within the template
design of their website. This ensures that the user does not inadvertently
muddle up their website.
No need to know HTML, or ASP, or FTP! No more fiddling in Front
Page only to create a website that looks amateurish. Chase Information
Systems, Inc. has developed their own Content Management System
(CMS). Already in version 3, this object oriented CMS allows the
user to edit and adjust the content of existing web pages as well
as add new web pages to their website without any technical know-how.
With a website crafted by a professional graphic artist, and then
integrated into a professionally programmed CMS, you get ease

Flash animations
add functionality and superiority to a website. While your competitors
may have a static information-only website, your site can be animated
and interactive by utilizing Flash and/or Shockwave. For instance,
imagine a "graphic" that a user can point at, which in
turn causes a subsection to appear that explains what the user is
pointing at. This is but one simple example, and would be great
for a diagram. Another use for Flash would be for a logo that keeps
spinning, or for fancy drop down menus, or for a website "intro"

ASP,
PHP, and JavaScript Programming:
CIS started as a custom programming consulting firm primarily focussed
on Visual Basic and MS Access consulting. Over the years Chase Information
Systems, Inc. has matured into more modern programming such as web-based
ASP and PHP. Utilizing ASP and PHP a website can be "database
driven" and/or "database accessing" which opens up
a whole new world of possibilities for your company without the
expense of a full time Oracle Programming staff. ASP and PHP programming
is deemed "Server Side Scripting", whereas pure Javascript
programming is considered "Client Side Scripting".
Utilizing an MS Access, or MS SQLServer, or MySQL, or just about
any web-enabled database, CIS can create a programmatic website
that functions as a tool for your company. For instance receive

information appear instantly on your sales team's computer screen.

Online
Shopping Websites:
CIS
is able to provide full scale E-Commerce shopping websites, being
websites that are enabled to sell items or services online. By means
of a list and an example, let us briefly explain what is involved
in an E-Commerce website:
1) Website online
2) Shopping Cart program
3) Secure Certificate (SSL)
4) Merchant Account
A customer goes to your website (#1), they click to view the items
you have for sale (#2). The customer then clicks to 'Add Item To Shopping
Cart' (#2). After choosing all the items they wish to purchase, the
customer then clicks 'Go To Checkout' (#2) and proceeds to enter in
their credit card information (#2 and #3). The credit card information
is encrypted (#3) and sent to either a real-time credit card processing
center (#4) or to a holding bin to be processed onsite in your store
(#3 and #4). The order is then complete on your customer's end.
This process is called "online shopping" or "E-Commerce"
and each part has associated costs. Please bare in mind that there
are various ways to enable this, from the most simple and inexpensive
(using PayPal) to the most complex (using an unlimited shopping cart

component (whether to make online sales or to just display inventory).

CIS also offers Website Hosting
at very reasonable pricing (starting at $9.95 per month for Windows-based
hosting). Currently we promote our Windows 2000 Server Internet hosting,
which is normally the highest priced hosting package available, but
through CIS it is incredibly affordable. Hosting on Windows 2000 Servers
gives CIS (or the Web Developer of your choice) the ability to code
in ASP and utilize an MS Access Database (or an SQL Database when
your site outgrows Access).

Past Projects:
In 2003 CIS developed the Christian
Fest website. This website required a high-end appearance, as
this ministry is now seeking national Christian speakers and performers
for upcoming events. The introduction to this website was then placed
onto a CD-ROM which opens up to a menu that allows a presenter
to then select from one of four PowerPoint presentations regarding
the festival and the ministry.

Another good example of CIS craftsmanship is the RTM
Electric, Inc. website. After creating this website CIS then
encapsulated the website onto a CD-ROM
for RTM clients to be able to view the website from (instead of
needing an Internet connection - the RTM sales representative can
simply put the CD into the potential client's PC and show the website
from the CD-ROM). This website project is an animated information-only
website, however it has a very pleasing design with extremely easy
to use navigation. When it comes to aesthetically pleasing designs,
CIS crafted The
Better Place Ministries website like no other. From the logo
design to the website, CIS was able to provide a stunning website,
which is encased into their Content Management System for easily
updating.

CIS developed the HPSA.us
website, which is a high-end programmatic website. HPSA.us
offers assistance for Healthcare professionals to receive bonuses
from the federal government in return for providing healthcare services
in areas where such professionals are scarce. Employing an ASP structure,
Visual Basic Scripting, and a Relational Database, the HPSA website
originally brought about these services via a web application. However
HPSA now has a new business model and is offering a software package
in place of this web application. The HPSA Billing document which
was sold for $99.00 from this website, was protected via ASP programming
and involved a 128-bit encrypted Adobe Acrobat document embedded
into a Shockwave movie. This may sound a bit technical, but it was
quite ingenious in its functionality.

original Digitell,
Inc. website which was consulted on by CIS, is a fully functioning
ASP programmed and database-driven shopping cart website. Chase
Information Systems, Inc. offers programming consultations, as well
as complete shopping cart solutions for fully enabled E-Commerce
websites. For a number of years CIS offered a variety of shopping
carts, such as the TEK9 and Miva Merchant solutions. However in
the past two years CIS has been promoting their own proprietary
shopping cart solution (as an addition
to their Content Management System). The second
version of the Digitell,
Inc. website was completely done by CIS with animated Drop-Down
flash menus, and is a fully functioning E-Commerce website as well
as offering streaming technologies - all developed by Chase Information
Systems in the spring of 2003.
